Recommendations and Applications:
CBS is delayed accelerator of NR and synthetic rubber,
has superior advantage both in anti-scorching and fast curing rate, with excellent operation safety.
It can be also used alone in low sulfur vulcanization, or used along with dithiocarbamate salts
and thiuram accelerator, imparts excellent aging resistance and compression set of the vulcanizates.
CBS used along with dithiocarbamate and thiuram accelerator will significantly reduce scorching time.
Thiourea accelerator will obviously promote CBS, especially in low sulfur vulcanization.
In vulcanization system containing mercaptan and thiuram accelerator, CBS is able to delay scorching,
improve processing safety.
CBS has very strong promoting ability at curing temperature( >138℃),
especially suitable for furnace carbon black rubber masterbatch containing high alkaline .
CBS doesn't bloom, easily dispersed in rubber and imparts excellent mechanical properties
and aging resistance of vulcanizates.
Mainly used in the manufacture of tires, tire tubes, rubber hose,belts, soles, cable,
tyre retreading, industrial products etc.
NR: 0.5 ~ 1.0 PHR CBS along with 2.5 ~ 3.5 PHR sulfur
SBR: 1.0 ~ 1.5 PHR CBS along with 0.1 ~ 0.5 PHR thiuram and 1.5 ~ 2.5 PHR sulfur.
Composition:
Pre-dispersed 80% N-Cyclohexyl-2-benzothiazole sulfenamide in a 20% elastomeric binder
Elastomeric binder can be SBR or EPDM, or others according to customer’s requirements.

Dosage:
Use the same amount as CBS powder in rubber compound, generally 0.5~2.5 PHR ,
increase or decrease the amount accordingly.
